Medical Marijuana Card for Westchester Patients
Many Westchester patients are eligible.
BuddMD certifies patients throughout Westchester County through the same physician-led telemedicine process used statewide — no office visit required anywhere in the county.
Start Your IntakeTelemedicine certification for Westchester County
New York has no fixed list of qualifying conditions — a certified healthcare provider may certify a patient when the provider determines that medical cannabis may be clinically appropriate. Because the process is entirely telemedicine, Westchester patients complete intake and their evaluation remotely, without scheduling around a local clinic.
Close to the Connecticut border
Westchester County borders Connecticut, and BuddMD is licensed to certify patients in both states. If you live near the border and aren't sure whether New York or Connecticut rules apply to you, certification follows your state of residence — New York rules apply if you live in Westchester, while Connecticut's rules apply just across the state line.
Certification terms
New York certifications may run for up to two years (per New York State Senate Bill S3294A, signed November 2025, effective approximately February 2026). BuddMD offers 1-year ($119) and 2-year ($219) certifications.
