Medical Marijuana Card for Bronx Patients
Many Bronx patients are eligible.
BuddMD certifies Bronx residents the same way as patients anywhere else in New York: online intake, a scheduled telemedicine evaluation, and certification if clinically appropriate — with no clinic to visit in the borough.
Start Your IntakeA remote process built around your schedule
New York has no fixed list of qualifying conditions — a certified healthcare provider may certify a patient when the provider determines that medical cannabis may be clinically appropriate. Because your evaluation happens by telemedicine, you can complete it around work, school, or family obligations without needing to schedule around a Bronx clinic's hours.
Using your certification
Once certified, you're automatically registered with the New York Medical Cannabis Program — there's no physical card to carry. Your registry ID works at any licensed New York dispensary, including those in the Bronx and throughout NYC.
Certification terms
New York certifications may run for up to two years (per New York State Senate Bill S3294A, signed November 2025, effective approximately February 2026). BuddMD offers 1-year ($119) and 2-year ($219) certifications.
