Medical Marijuana Card for Queens Patients
Many Queens patients are eligible.
Queens is New York City's largest borough by area, and BuddMD's telemedicine model means distance and traffic don't factor into your certification. Whether you're near Flushing, Jamaica, Astoria, or anywhere else in Queens, your intake, evaluation, and certification all happen remotely.
Start Your IntakeTelemedicine removes the commute
New York has no fixed list of qualifying conditions — a certified healthcare provider may certify a patient when the provider determines that medical cannabis may be clinically appropriate. Because BuddMD's entire process is telemedicine, Queens patients avoid the commute that an in-person clinic visit would require, regardless of which part of the borough you're in.
Where your certification applies
Once certified, you're automatically registered with the New York Medical Cannabis Program — there's no physical card. Your registry ID works at any licensed New York dispensary, including those throughout Queens and the rest of NYC.
Certification terms
New York certifications may run for up to two years (per New York State Senate Bill S3294A, signed November 2025, effective approximately February 2026). BuddMD offers 1-year ($119) and 2-year ($219) certifications.
